DHT11 Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor Module

The DHT11 Temperature and Humidity Sensor Module is a low-cost digital sensor designed for measuring ambient temperature and relative humidity with a calibrated digital output. The module integrates a capacitive humidity sensor, an NTC thermistor, and an internal 8-bit microcontroller that processes the sensor readings and transmits them using a proprietary single-wire digital communication protocol. Unlike analog sensors, the DHT11 outputs factory-calibrated digital data, eliminating the need for external ADCs or complex calibration. The module includes an onboard pull-up resistor and power indicator (on some variants), making it easy to interface with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, Raspberry Pi, AVR, PIC, and other embedded development platforms.
